Manuel Dasilva - How To Identify A Real Yenko Camaro

Manuel Dasilva loves classic cars and has dreams of owning a Yenko Camaro someday. He is always looking for the perfect one and knows that there are many fakes out there. If you are in the market for a Yenko Camaro and want to know how to identify a real one, follow these tips.

Manuel DasilvaThe Specs

A real Yenko will have certain specs that you can look for. It should have 425 horsepower and 460 foot-pounds of torque. It should also be equipped with a four-speed manual transmission, reach 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds and cover the quarter-mile in 11.9 seconds at 115 mph.

The Look

A Yenko Camaro has a distinct look that will set it apart from fakes. It was only available as a coupe, had both front and rear spoilers and racing stripes on the side. It should also have "sYc" badging and “427” badging on various areas of the vehicle.

The Cost

If something seems to good to be true, it usually is. If you see a Yenko Camaro that is advertised for sale at a ridiculously low price, there is a good chance it is a fake. You may be able to find a good deal on a Yenko, but you can bet that most people know what they have and will not be willing to part with it for a suspiciously low price.

Nobody wants to buy their dream car only to find out it is a fake. Manuel Dasilva hopes to own a Yenko Camaro someday and plans to take his time shopping for one to make sure he does not get a fake one.
